Now basically, all of us have a concept of how to reduce weight, don't we?
So why do we find it so hard? Each and every diet plan on the market, in spite of how fantastic it is won't work without one very important ingredient, Perseverance!
Sadly that isn't something we can buy from the store, that I am afraid to say, is something that individuals have to supply ourselves, and without one, just about every diet plan that you attempt definitely will fail.
There are some good diets around and one diet plan that suits one individual won't purely match another. Therefore you might find that you and your best friend are planning to start a diet together, your friend might be going great guns and losing pound after pound, but you, aren't. It's frustrating; however it's a well known fact of life that we are all made up diversely.
Personally I don't suggest diets as such. When you limit your calories, your system will feel that there is a food shortage, and it'll go deep into starvation mode. Once in starvation mode, it will decelerate your metabolism to conserve calorie consumption.
You see the body have been set from way back that if there is no supply of food, we had to look for our food so our meals were not regular. The metabolic rate adjusts the use of our calories to make sure that in times of food shortage; we would not waste away and starve.
Today in this day and age, there is always food to hand; yet our body is unaware of this. If you skip a meal your body will go on starvation alert and slow that metabolic rate all the way down, which means the next time you eat, the body is going to hang on to those calories and keep as much of them as it could as fat.
So, what's the solution? There has been tons of investigation and in my opinion the way forward is this: To maintain your metabolism ticking over at a consistent pace, you have to eat regular meals, regular small meals each and every 2.5 - three hours, try and include protein in these foods (meat, preferably lean meat i.e. chicken, turkey, tuna) since protein doesn't shoot your blood sugar right up and plummet it back down as sugary foods would. Maintain your daily calories to a standard level, (check out your ideal consumption online somewhere).
Our next part is something that you aren't primarily going to like, but, it's the only method forward, you must Workout!!
You'll need cardio workouts 3-4 times per week for around forty minutes at a time, and also important, you should do weight training exercise, as the more muscle you have, the more fat you burn off. Ladies don't panic, I am not saying that you must look like Arnie, yet you'll need muscle tone, and the more you have, the more fats you will burn, even while you are sleeping!
All The Best !
